Green Seal
The “Green Seal” given out by RECYCLA helps inform the community that a company is responsible for the life cycle of its E-Waste products.

On a global level, people are growing more and more conscious of the products that they consume, leading them to invest more in goods that meet certain environmental characteristics. The consumer is beginning to research company conduct and demand that they incorporate sustainable practices.
An example of this is known as “Extended Product Responsibility”, and it is beginning to take hold in the world, especially with respect to the sustainability of production in technology and manufacturing companies. EPR means that the producer is not only responsible for creating the product, but also for its disposal (“death”), that is to say, from “cradle to grave”.
What is the Recycling Green Seal?
It is a logo that informs the final user about which products can be freely recycled after their useful life has finished, meaning that the producer has seen to it that the life cycle of the product is accounted for.
What benefits does the Green Seal provide for the client?
Companies that possess this seal are those that demonstrate leadership in the field of sustainability in Chile, going above and beyond the requirements of EPR, which permits these early adopters to present indicators of recycling in their sustainability reports and improve their corporate reputation. Specifically, the Green Seal contributes to:
- Making recycling efforts and concern for the environment more visible
- Increasing leadership in the field of sustainability
- Moving ahead of future legislation
- Differentiation from the competition
- Added value to the brand
- Better traceability and greater control over the final destination of products
How does the Green Seal work?
The structure of the Green Seal implies a complete service, which incorporates the inverse logistics of a product from the moment of purchase until its eventual recycling or final disposal. This structure varies in accordance with the particular needs and logistical functions for each individual client.
